Gooey Chocolate Cake

6 oz plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
4 tablespoons caster sugar
2 eggs
¼ pint vegetable oil
¼ pint milk
Topping:
2 Mars bars
2 tablespoons milk
Set the oven at 190C (375F) (Gas 5).
Grease aand line the base of an 8” cake tin.
Sieve the flour, baking powder and cocoa into a bowl.
Mix in the sugar.
Beat eggs together, mix in oil and milk.
Make a well in the centre of the flour and stir in the egg mixture.
Stir well to combine.
Spoon into prepared tin.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until well-risen.
Turn onto a wire rack to cool.
To make the topping, place Mars bars into a small bowl left over hot water.
Mix in the milk to give a smooth coating consistency.
Pour over the cake and allow to run down the sides.
Chill for 5 to 10 minutes.
